The Gainsborough is an active 55+ adult community which opened in 1995. This 120-unit complex is situated on 5 acres of lush landscaped grounds. Shopping, grocery, pharmacy, banks and churches, are all within easy walking distance. On-site hair salon, social and recreational activities, and chapel all enhance independence for todays senior.

We are located on the northeast corner of Gainsborough Road and Wonderland Road in northwest London, Ontario, Canada. London is known as the "Forest City". Its abundance of parks running along the Thames River stretch from the internationally known University of Western Ontario to Springbank Park, made famous by the children's theme park "Storybook Gardens."

London is also home to The Grand Theatre, Fanshawe College, Western Fair Raceway and Slots, and Fanshawe Pioneer Village to name a few. London is a shoppers' paradise, with three large shopping malls to choose from, including White Oaks, Westmount and Masonville Malls. The city boasts a wide array of over 100 restaurants to suit every palate.

London is ideally located, with only a 45 minute drive to Lake Erie, Lake Huron, or Stratford, home of the Stratford Festival.
